Besek College (PTY) LTD is a private institution registered in terms of the Gauteng Provincial Regulation No 248 of 2004. It was established in 2002 as an inclusive and diversity college, to offer accessible education for all. Our programs are accredited and quality assured by the Gauteng Provincial Department of Education for Primary and High School Education. The College thus offers and accommodate learners from Grade R to 12.

In the South African context, Besek College is entirely owned by previously disadvantaged individuals; and has gathered broad experience in working with a wide range of Educators and Learners over the past six (06) years in delivering the National Curriculum under the Department of Basic Education. An outcome of the later is the achievement of a 100% pass rate in its third seating at the National Matriculation Examination (Matric). The standard for the Matric Examinations at the school has been set, and the College hopes the status quo remains unchanged for a very longtime.

In delivering our mission, and a focus on our vision, subjects of choice for our high school learners are limited to mainly Sciences and Commercial. In addition to the National Curriculum, we further prepare our learners for the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR). Thus, as a matter of choice, our parents have the option to enrol their children for an intensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and/or Entrepreneurship Education. Again, these extramural programs are age-grouped focus, catering for kids from Grade R to 9. These additional services are offered on Saturdays; with a discounted rate for Besek College registered learners. Non registered learners may have to subscribe at a higher premium. The benefits attached and to be achieved from these programs are enormous.

Coding, Robotics & Digital Technology

In an effort to further prepare our learners with regards to STEM Education; Coding and Robotics are taught from Grade R to 7 while Digital Technology is taught from Grade 8 to 9.

Learners at the FET band (Grade 10 to 12) are all encouraged to include Computer Application Technology (CAT) as part of their learning streams.

Our Teachers

Our comprehensive range of learning programs are carefully crafted from the National Curriculum Statements (NCS) to meet the needs of learners from all backgrounds and skill levels.
